Annie: The Musical

“Annie is the key! Yes, siree! Yes, siree! Yes, siree!”

From July 2015 right the way through to June 2016 Jonny performed daily in the immensely well-received smash hit UK tour of the musical Annie. In it, he played the ruthless villain and devious character of Rooster Hannigan forever looking to grab the opportunity, at whatever the cost, of a comfortable life on “Easy Street”.

“A stand out star was Jonny Fines as Rooster, who camped up the role and was an effortless villain.”
Charlotte Smith-Jarvis, East Anglian Daily Times

As well as taking part in the nationwide UK Tour, Jonny also performed the role at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco before embarking on a long run in the West End of London at the Piccadilly Theatre from May 2017 until February 2018 alongside Craig Revel Horwood, Miranda Hart and Meera Syal.

“There’s strong support from Jonny Fines as Rooster, who brings a new lease of life to the adult section of the company, his histrionics resembling the love child of comedian Lee Evans and the Tasmanian Devil.”

“Jonny Fines as Rooster has just the right amount of venom.”
